Why Renew Your NDIS Registration?
As your NDIS Certification or Verification approaches its expiry, it’s time to plan your renewal. Wondering why?
Your NDIS Certification or Verification is valid for either 1 year, 18 months or 3 years depending on your service offering. NDIS Renewal involves an essential audit process before your Certificate of Registration expires. This audit allows your Approved Quality Auditor and the NDIS Commission to assess your compliance with current NDIS Practice Standards and relevant government legislation. This review is crucial, especially if there have been legislative changes since your last audit.
Regular audits not only ensure compliance but also offer opportunities for improvement. They help you adapt to changes, enhance your services, and identify areas for better business support. Avoid the obstacles to NDIS renewal with expert NDIS consultation from EnableUS. Book your free consultation for NDIS Renewal and NDIS certification here.

Log in to the NDIS Commission Portal and navigate to the My Applications tab.
Complete your NDIS renewal application, providing the following information:
After submitting your application, you’ll receive a ‘Scope of Audit’ document from the NDIS Commission. This document summarises your NDIS re-registration requirements and outlines the relevant NDIS Practice Standards sections you need to demonstrate compliance with.
You can then choose which NDIS approved auditor you wish to review the audit scope and initiate the audit process. Keep in mind that the audit process varies for ‘Verification’ and 'Certification’ audits
During the audit, your dedicated team will assist you in understanding the findings, allowing you to ask questions and provide answers. Before finalising the audit, your auditor will discuss with you a draft Audit Report for your feedback. This step ensures your satisfaction before the audit outcome is submitted to the NDIS Commission.
To prepare for your recertification audit, consider conducting an internal audit to ensure compliance with current NDIS Practice Standards and legislation. Verify the accuracy and currency of policies, procedures, worker screening checks, and training records. Accurate worker screening checks are legally required for the safety of NDIS participants. Also, review your continuity of support procedures, addressing personnel changes, staff absences, and emergency scenarios, such as pandemics or natural disasters.
At EnableUs, we simplify the NDIS certification and verification renewal process, ensuring your compliance and continued success in supporting NDIS participants.
