FAQ
Roadmap Questions
How long does registration take?
Your documents arrive within 24 hours of starting. After that the timeline depends on how quickly your evidence comes together, your auditor’s availability and the Commission’s processing times, and the last two move. We will not give you a single number designed to make a sale.
What is PRODA and do I need it?
PRODA is the Australian Government’s online identity verification service. You need an account to use the NDIS Commission’s application portal. It is free, you set it up yourself, and doing it first removes the most common early delay.
Who lodges the application?
You do, in the NDIS Commission’s portal. Every package includes an application checklist and a step-by-step guide to lodging it.
How do I choose an auditor?
The Commission publishes the list of NDIS-approved quality auditors. Every package includes a referral to our partner auditor: EnableUs partners with an approved auditor to get you good pricing. The auditor’s fee is paid directly to them.
What usually slows registration down?
Almost never the documents. It is waiting on worker screening checks, chasing an insurance certificate, a key person’s details not matching their identity documents, or a self-assessment left half-finished. Getting those moving on day one is worth more than any shortcut later.
Can I work with participants while I wait?
With plan-managed and self-managed participants, for supports that do not require registration, yes. Many providers do exactly that while their application is in progress.
