Before You Decide
The Question Almost Everybody Skips
This is the advice that saves providers the most money. We charge a fixed fee per package, so a narrower scope costs us nothing, which is exactly why we can say it.
Are you ready to be audited on all of it, right now?
A registration can be varied later as the business grows. An audit you were not ready for cannot be undone. If one of your groups is aspirational rather than operational, leave it out for now.
FAQ
Which Registration Questions
Can I just pick the cheapest registration?
No. The pathway follows the registration groups, and the groups follow the supports you actually deliver. Nominating groups you do not deliver to land on a cheaper pathway means being audited against work you do not do, which an auditor notices immediately.
What if I am not sure which groups cover my work?
That is the normal starting position. Tell us what you do in your own words through the form on this page and we will map it to the groups — including the ones people miss because the group name sounds like something else.
I deliver one high-risk support and the rest is low-risk. Must I do certification?
As things stand, yes — there is no mixed pathway. It is worth asking whether that one support is a meaningful part of your business today. If it is not, leaving it out now and adding it by variation later is usually the cheaper route.
Does my business size change which registration I need?
No. The pathway is set by the supports, not the scale. Size affects how much evidence there is and what the auditor charges, not which pathway applies.
What if I deliver SDA and something else?
SDA alongside other supports is registration class 0131 — "SDA and one or more other registration classes" — which sits in the specialist pathway.
